MS Charles Dickens from Riviera Travel

MS Charles Dickens Overview

MS Charles Dickens Overview

Making its debut in November 2015, the MS Charles Dickens is a five-star, state-of-the-art river cruise ship. Commissioned and designed to Riviera’s exacting standards, she is without doubt a magnificent vessel and will be a fine addition to the fleet. Taking just 140 passengers ensures that the professional, friendly staff can provide only the highest levels of customer service. With most similarly sized ships taking upwards of 180 passengers, the extra space to be found on the MS Charles Dickens (and other ships in the Riviera fleet) is very noticeable indeed.

Cabins

Deluxe Suite (Upper Deck)

Situated on the upper deck are four exceptional deluxe suites measuring 22.8 square metres. Featuring sliding glass doors leading to an outside balcony, and with almost all the extra space being used to expand the living area, these suites epitomise comfort and luxury.

Standard Cabin (Upper and Middle Decks)

At 15 square metres, these cabins are spacious and well appointed. The rooms are furnished with hotel standard beds, safe, telephone, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities, individually controlled air-conditioning, and a flat screen TV with satellite channels.

These cabins have French Balconies with floor to ceiling doors that are able to slide entirely away against the ships side, effectively disappearing from view – a wonderful unique feature and a first on any river cruise ship.

Standard Cabin (Bottom Deck)

Cabins situated on the lower deck are slightly smaller than their upper and middle deck counterparts but they feature most of the same amenities less one armchair and table, and smaller, fixed windows.
